More than pleasant original and sourdough pizzas!

With a year of opening, Pizza Grata received us and shared the delights of its menu, whose specialty is exquisite pizzas made with sourdough.

At 145 Euler Street we discovered a small trattoria with immense flavor and quality. It is Pizza Gratta, located in Polanco, a gastronomic proposal that Alfredo Llantada created as a resilient response to the pandemic. The place has a very pleasant energy, with a lot of camaraderie on the part of all the staff, who welcome you with enthusiasm and empathy. A well-kept space, where diners come not only to enjoy the delicacies that I will tell you about later, but also to spend pleasant moments with friends, family or even business. An artisanal oven is part of the installation, from where the aromas that invite everyone who passes through the street come out.

This trattoria gets out of the routine and integrates pizzas made with sourdough as the main standard in its menu. For those who are not yet familiar with this term, it refers to a type of totally organic dough made in the most traditional way. This is just the beginning of a true gastronomic journey through the real Italy, that of fresh and organic products. Its menu of sourdough pizzas includes the most popular recipes such as: Margarita, Pepperoni, 4 cheeses, Mushrooms and more. And even specialty sourdough pizzas such as Burrata, Gorgonzola and pear, Salmon or Brisket. The texture and flavor of the sourdough, as well as the natural ingredients used in its preparation, are unforgettable.

Another compelling reason to visit it is that if you have a craving for something other than pizza, we suggest you try the homemade pasta. The tortellini will drive you crazy, they are made of ricotta cheese and spinach, in addition to any of the following preparations:

  • Lemon, butter and grana padano *TOP recommendation

  • Walnut, sage, butter and grana padano

  • Pomodoro, basil and grana padano

They also have tagliatelle bolognese, putanesca or amatricciana. All exquisite.

Honorable mention goes to the appetizers, especially the aubergine ash and the stracciatella with pesto. You will also find on their menu salads, calzones, artichokes or wood-fired top sirloin and some very rich desserts to finish off your luxurious after-meal meal.
