Women in fashion, the feminine legacy

From September 5 to October 30, visit the collection exhibited at the 3rd. floor of the Palacio de Hierro. The complete activities calendar here if you are a fashion police in Mexico City.

Carried out by the Palacio de Hierro to share the history of fashion in Mexico, where the department store has played a leading role.

A new museum experience opens its doors on the third floor of the Palacio de Hierro Historic Center of Mexico City. Now to share about Women in Fashion (Mujeres en la moda). Whose goal is to give voice to all women, who from different trenches have built piece by piece, season by season, the trends that have marked a lifestyle through clothing.

The collection features original pieces from international firms that have become a milestone in the history of global fashion, from the little black dress that Coco Chanel created as an act of disruption to Schiaparelli hats, as well as the most exquisite display of jewelry.

Four thematic nuclei link the storytelling of this cultural and fashion journey: Designers (international and Mexican); Innovation (feminine creativity on the move); Women and consumption (fashion shows, iconic photos); Women, fashion and representation (the image of women as inspiration and persuasion).

This cultural trip is also seasoned with interactive activities with prominent figures from the industry such as Anna Fusoni, Nicolás Alvarado, Rodrigo Maceda, Andrea Molina and Arturo Aguilar. This is the calendar, participation is open to the general public:
